Summary:
The main function of a business operations specialist is to maintain vendor relationships, acting as a business analyst for non-IT projects or filling organizational roles above an administrative level, but below a management level. Other responsibilities may include maintaining all project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics and budget. The business operations specialist usually reports to a project manager or director.
Role
• Join the Business Operations team within the Samsung Wallet in the United States
• Manage daily activities of new features launching within Wallet including relevant project management efforts, performance tracking, documentation management, and internal communications (stakeholder management and reporting)
• Collaborate with Business Development, Product, and Marketing teams to align strategy and capture business requirements; monitor and report on project statuses
• Conceptualize and develop solutions such as dashboards and reports to track KPIs and drive business performance / support decision making
• Develop ongoing and ad-hoc executive reports on Wallet performance and overall market trends and opportunities
• Identify, develop and execute on improvements to management, tracking, and reporting of cross-functional projects
• Present key reports to senior leadership when required to support socialization of project statuses
Qualifications
• BA/BS required;
• ~5 years of experience in business operations, project management, or strategic project planning (experience in mobile, services, or payments space a plus however, not required)
• Experience developing and managing business and feature performance reports for leadership
• Experience with project management including developing internal information flows and documentation for new projects, stakeholder management, managing reporting, etc.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Strong verbal communication and presentation skills including experience presenting to senior executives
• Ability to deal with ambiguity, solve complex problems, and navigate large, global organizations
• Ability to work proficiently in technical settings
• Strong analytical skills including Excel
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, etc.) strongly desired
• Korean language proficiency a plus however, not required
Payrate: $54/h- $64/h
